The Aquatic Center will remain closed due to unforeseen issues with the new water circulation equipment. Crews are working hard to open the center as soon as possible. More information on a specific opening date will be shared as soon as it is available. 

The center was closed the week of May 23 to allow crews to install new water circulation equipment associated with the Olympic pool’s new filtration system.   As this new equipment was brought online, it was not maintaining sufficient flow to stay in compliance with health standards. Crews worked into late Friday evening to get the system working properly and consulted with staff, equipment suppliers and design engineers over the Memorial weekend to troubleshoot the issue and find a solution. 

Aquatic Center front desk staff will be available for scheduling and reservations. 

The County appreciates the public’s understanding and patience as crews work through the issues.  The County will provide more information and updates as they become available.
