
COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
Los Alamos County Community Services Department (CSD) is working with Design Office, a professional consulting service to provide a conceptual design and layout to enhance and expand existing biking trails within Pueblo Canyon, and invites the community to join a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. June 1, via Zoom.
This meeting is a continuation of the meeting that was held the first week of May. Additional information about the project can be found on the Community Services Department Projects Page.
Community Services Department is considering the following bike trail projects:
- A seven-mile International Mountain Biking Trail located in Pueblo Canyon;
- A connector trail that would allow bikers to travel from the roundabout on San Ildefonso Road to the Aquatic Center;
- A bike skills park located in Pueblo Canyon;
- A six-mile National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) trail loop located near the Y intersection on N.M. 502; and
- Improvements to an equestrian trail in Bayo Canyon near the North Mesa stables.
CSD invites interested members of the community to join a public meeting at 5:30 p.m. June 1, via Zoom. This meeting is a continuation of the meeting that was held the first week of May. Additional information about the project can be found on the Community Services Department Projects Page.
