Wayne Kohlrust, Los Alamos County project manager for the Leisure Lagoon at the Walkup Aquatic Center, led members of the Rotary Club of Los Alamos on a lunchtime tour on April 26.  Kohlrust said the project, still under construction, has been delayed by pool equipment delivery issues, but the pool is expected to open in late June/early July.  The facility features areas for swimming lessons and aquatic play, a lazy river for floating in inflatables, and a tower slide accessed by a spiral stairway.  The Leisure Lagoon also has showers, family restrooms, and an outdoor patio.  Photo by Oliver Morris
