LAFC NEWS RELEASE
As a nonprofit, our primary purpose is to achieve the organizational mission. Our mission is to promote social and emotional well-being through education, prevention, and counseling. As such, organizational revenues are used to cover staffing, programmatic, and administrative costs. You can see the details of these financials in our annual 990 filings with the IRS.
A 990 is the tax filing for nonprofit organizations. This filing is public record and shares significant information about the operations of Los Alamos Family Council. If you look at our Candid/GuideStar profile you will see 990 returns for the last 23 fiscal years, back to 1998!
Los Alamos Family Council is proud to have a Platinum Transparency rating for the second year in a row. LAFC is dedicated to putting our financial assets to use serving the community. We thank our generous individual and corporate donors and sponsors for their support. Without them, we could not continue to provide the level of services we provide.
