Los Alamos County Transporation Board
A rare opportunity to give input on general issues will open up at this month’s Transportation Board meeting, April 7 at 5:30 pm.
First up is Bicycle Month. There will be a report and discussion on plans for Bike To Work day and other events. The Board and staff would love to get as much public input as possible, including events being held or ideas for more things we can do.
Next comes preparation for the annual report to County Council. This is basically a direct pipeline to the folks who actually decide what gets done and how it’s paid for. If there are transportation issues the county should know about, or ideas you think should be under consideration, there’s no better time to let us know. We’ll be putting together our priorities for recommendations to council, so this is in some ways our most important meeting.
The Transportation Board is still only doing zoomeetings for now, but watch this space to find out when that will change. We expect to eventually go hybrid, but zoom participation should also be okay indefinitely.
