Los Alamos Family Council CountUP! Week 21

LAFC NEWS RELEASE

Since 1982 the Youth Activity Centers have been serving the youth and families of Los Alamos County. Today, there are two Youth Activity Centers: one in Los Alamos (the lower level of the Community Building on the east end of Ashley Pond) and one in White Rock (behind the White Rock library branch).

The Youth Activity Centers provide more that 2,100 operating hours a year between the two sites. This includes after school each day, longer hours on Wednesdays, and long days during breaks and the summer.

The Youth Activity Center is free for all youth residing or attending school in Los Alamos County. The funding is provided by the Los Alamos County Social Services Division.

Registration for the 2022-2023 school year is now open for all youth entering 3rd through 8th grade. New 3rd graders can begin attending Tuesday May 31. To register, parents and guardians can use this link: https://lafamilycouncil.dm.networkforgood.com/forms/2022-2023-youth-activity-center-registration
