Good morning, Los Alamos, 

Today, I am announcing my support for Aaron Walker to fill former councilor Sean Williams’s seat on the Los Alamos County Council. 

I have personally worked with Aaron on many concerns for Los Alamos, including the Community Development Advisory Board. I find Aaron to be strong in his beliefs, but willing to work together on a solution that works for everyone. 

The list of the applicants is very strong. However, as a veteran, laboratory employee and father, Aaron would represent a demographic that is sorely missing from the Council with Sean and my exit. 

The Council should be representative of the community and so far, the young professional/family segment is missing. 

If you are one those demographics that Aaron represents, I would encourage you to email the council at countycouncil@lacnm.us and/or attend the meeting to let them know that you would like them to appoint Aaron.
