PERFORMING ARTS CENTER NEWS RELEASE
The Viewing Room begins its three-weekend run at the Performing Arts Center on Friday, March 11. This heartfelt comedy centers on the recently deceased Chester Dumbrosky, who “awakens” in the viewing room of a funeral home as his dysfunctional family prepares to say goodbye. The cast of 8 includes Chester, his wife Florence, their five children (Matthew, Steven, Patti, Debby, and Chet Jr.), and the quirky funeral home director Jay. Directed by Wendy Caldwell and starring a slew of local talent, this show is sure to bring plenty of laughter and life lessons.
The Viewing Room runs from March 11 through March 26, with 7:30 p.m. shows on Friday and Saturday evenings. There will also be a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, March 20. Tickets are available in advance at Boomerang (cash or check only) or at the door one hour before performance times.
