UNM-LA NEWS RELEASE

The University of New Mexico (UNM) Los Alamos, in collaboration with the UNM Office of Career Services, invites the community to the UNM-Los Alamos Virtual Career Fair scheduled for Thursday, March 10, through the Handshake job and internship platform. The virtual fair will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Registration for employers and attendees alike is FREE. An employer account through Handshake, also free, is required for participation but gives employers the opportunity to post openings and search for eligible candidates within Handshake at any time.

At our fair, participants will be able to engage with students in a variety of formats, including the following:

• Video, audio, and chat communication with students
• Group meetings with up to fifty participants
• 1:1 meetings scheduled in advance or after a group session
• Sharing your values and documentation with students ahead of time

Upon registration, we’ll review the details you submitted for approval. After registration, you’ll be asked to share who plans to attend the fair. Each representative you register will be able to create their own unique schedule to engage with students at the event.
