Preschool Family Math Night will be held at Barranca Mesa Elementary and Mountain Elementary School in Los Alamos, and Chamisa Elementary School in White Rock on Wed., March 2 from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. The Preschool Family Math Night is open to students and families currently enrolled in the Preschool programs at these school sites.
This is the second of four Family Engagement Nights which are part of the Los Alamos Public Schools PreK program. Last fall, students and families attended Literacy Night, which introduced students and their families to classes in art, music, physical education and library, and how these classes can be integrated into literacy. The focus of this second presentation is math, with a farm friendly theme.
Registration for the Preschool program for the 2022-2023 school year will open on March 7 at 8:00 am. Students who are 4 years of age prior to 12:01 am MDT on September 1 of the school year they are enrolling in and reside in Los Alamos county are eligible to enroll in the LAPS Preschool Program.
