Virtual Casting Call Set For Saturday For Universal Pictures Movie To Be Filmed In Los Alamos

Last weekend, hundreds of Northern New Mexico locals attended casting calls for an upcoming Universal Pictures motion picture that will be filmed in Los Alamos this spring. For anyone who missed the in-person casting calls, Casting New Mexico is offering a second chance to get involved with a virtual casting call webinar on Saturday, February 5 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The production will require actors to portray styles from the 1920s–1930s. There is a need for locals, veterans or military roles, scientists, teachers/professors, college students/scholars, drivers, executives and military wives. All participants must be over the age of 18, and costume sizes are 36–44 for males and 0–12 for females.

“If you missed last weekend’s casting calls, this is your chance to still be a part of this incredible film with important ties to Los Alamos and New Mexico as a whole,” said Kelly Stewart, Marketing Manager for Los Alamos County. “We encourage all to register and attend and help us showcase Northern New Mexico on film.”

The webinar is free of charge and open to all New Mexicans who are interested in taking part in the film. For more information or to register, visit
