LAPS NEWS RELEASE

The number of positive COVID cases among staff and students at Mountain Elementary over the past 14 days is nearing the 5% threshold. The decision has been made to transition to temporary remote learning beginning Tuesday, January 18 beginning at 8:30 am, extending through Monday, January 24.

All in person classes, meetings, or activities must be held remotely, be rescheduled, or be canceled during this window. This includes after school clubs and YMCA.

Mountain Elementary Principal Brian Grass has sent a message to all students, staff and families
with guidance on remote learning for the next 10 days.
