In early December, the Rotary Club of Los Alamos completed its second of two deliveries to the Navajo Nation as part of a grant provided by Rotary District 5520 and funding generated through the local community’s support of the Club’s summer Brews, Band, and BBQ.

Club President Oliver Morris with member Tim Bullock drove a trailer with food, water, and general supplies to 10 families designated by Tribal Councilman Mark Freeland as among the most vulnerable and at risk.  These homes were scattered at great distance throughout the eastern part of the Navajo Nation near Crownpoint.

The Club looks forward to other opportunities to be of service to our Navajo neighbors.
