Last Friday, Enterprise Bank & Trust once again sponsored the LARSO senior center holiday meal where all seniors can enjoy a special, hot meal with some of the added extras, that makes it feel like home. This meal is not just enjoyed by those willing to weather the storm and enter the building, but those that feel safer sharing their kindness in the drive through and those on the home delivered meal program.
“I value the seniors of our community because they have been loyal friends to Los Alamos,” said Liddie Martinez. “They have given a lifetime of talent and volunteer support to make Los Alamos the special place we all love. It is important to honor our seniors and to thank them for their many years of service.”
Seniors were thanked for their service, with a meal of chicken cordon bleu, with asparagus, wild rice and raspberry cheesecake. Members were given a small gift of thanks from the bank, to serve them throughout the New Year. The 2022 planners can be used to schedule appointments, keep track meetings or to record life, as we move through the pandemic.
The real-world vision, normally finds many EB&T hands serving, helping, and bringing a sense of warmth and kindness, not seen by all people every day. This year once again, the full-scale event was not meant to be, and the stellar staff was unable to serve for the safety of our community elders. The LANB staff goes the extra mile in many ways and on many days.
“Our Enterprise team makes me proud every day,” said Martinez. “They deliver customized solutions to help our customers achieve their financial goals and are focused on providing exceptional customer service with a smile.”
On Friday, a smile was brought to many faces.
