Specific topics include licensing and permitting requirements for testing laboratories, research laboratories, cannabis consumption areas, training and education programs, and cannabis server permits. The amendments and proposed rules are available online for public review.

The Cannabis Regulation Act, passed by the Legislature earlier this year, requires that all regulations for the production, manufacture and sale of adult-use cannabis be in place by January 1, 2022. The CRA requires adult-use cannabis sales to begin no later than April 1, 2022.
