The Los Alamos Middle School PTO is planning their Winter Staff Appreciation Luncheon for Tuesday, Dec. 14.  We love this opportunity to thank and honor those who work so hard, day in and day out, to make LAMS such a wonderful learning environment.

And we need your help! The PTO provides enchiladas and we need volunteers to donate side dishes and desserts, drinks and paper products. We can also use help with setup, serving and cleanup. Please help out however you can, and thank you for your generosity!

 We would like to give each of our amazing staff a $10 gift card along with a personal thank you card. Let’s support the local businesses that make our community special while also supporting our amazing staff.  Here’s a list we’ve compiled of local businesses that offer gift cards. Gift cards may be dropped off at the LAMS office or sent to school with your child. Electronic emails may be emailed to PTO Treasurer Mhairi McKay-Smith at lamsptotreasurer@gmail.com Please deliver gift cards by 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 10.

 Non-perishable items can be dropped off anytime at the LAMS office for 8th grade teacher Jill Gross who is the PTO Secretary. Drop off all other food, drinks and supplies the morning of the luncheon, Dec. 14. There will be a table near the front office to collect the contributions. Label serving dishes with your name and phone number if you would like them returned.
