COUNTY NEWS RELEASE

Asphalt and concrete patching will begin in various areas of Los Alamos and White Rock on Monday, Dec. 6. The Los Alamos County Traffic and Streets Division will conduct a mobile patching operation with minor traffic controls as they move throughout the county. The work will occur Monday through Friday, weather permitting, for several weeks until all necessary repairs have been made. 

The Department of Public Utilities coordinated with the Traffic and Streets Division to repair damage to roads resulting from emergency utility line work. The plants that source asphalt will close if and when temperatures drop enough, so the work will continue as long as weather permits and asphalt is available.
