Los Alamos WinterFest is running Friday, Dec. 3 through Sunday, Dec. 5 this year, with the popular and festive Holiday Lights Parade taking place along Central Avenue at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 under the theme, “TV & Film Holiday.”
Those interested in contributing a float or entry to the parade may still do so by registering through the WinterFest website at LosAlamosMainStreet.com/WinterFest.
Other popular Los Alamos WinterFest activities return this year including:
*27th Annual Los Alamos Creche Show at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints
*Ratcracker on “The Hill” produced by Dance Arts Los Alamos at the Duane Smith Auditorium
*Annual Children’s Christmas Bazaar at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church
*Annual Holiday Fuller Lodge Open House with the Los Alamos Arts Council and Fuller Lodge Art Center, Affordable Arts Show
*Winter Wonderland Virtual Paint Parties hosted by local artist Susanne Harrison
*Mesa Public Library will also host a Table Top Game Day the Saturday of WinterFest
*In light of the ongoing pandemic, the traditional Kiwanis Breakfast with Santa has transitioned to a “Visit with Santa” at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Hall; reserved timeslots are required in advance.
