Join the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) and the Los Alamos County Library to celebrate the upcoming launch of the James Webb Space Telescope! This family-friendly celebration will take place at the White Rock Public Library on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 3:30 – 5 p.m.
People of all ages are welcome to stop by throughout this program to create an art piece imagining what the telescope might discover. You can also make a pinwheel galaxy, quiz an astronomer with your space-related questions, discover how the Webb Telescope will let us see new things, learn the basics of using a telescope and more.
This event will be held mostly outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Drop by anytime throughout this event to join in the fun! This event is free to attend and no advance registration is required.
