COUNTY NEWS RELEASE
Two vaccine clinics administering Moderna boosters will be held this Sunday, Nov. 14: A walk-in clinic in Los Alamos and a drive-through clinic in White Rock.
Los Alamos County, the New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) and Trinity Urgent Care are administering the Moderna booster for select populations who have already received their primary series (first two doses of Moderna or Pfizer) or to anyone who is 18 years or older that received the single dose of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The clinic will be at the Los Alamos High School, 1300 Diamond Dr., Auxiliary Gym from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome, as long as there is sufficient vaccine supply.
A second drive-through clinic, hosted by the Los Alamos Retired and Senior Organization and Nambe Drugs will administer the Moderna booster for individuals that are 50+ years of age. The event will be held in the parking lot of the White Rock Senior Center, 137 Longview Dr, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
