Los Alamos Family Council Offices Relocate As 60th Anniversary Count-Up Celebration Begins

The offices of Los Alamos Family Council (LAFC), including the Counseling Center, are relocating this weekend to 1350 Central Park Square, Suite 102, next to the Bradbury Science Museum.

The Counseling Center and administrative offices will be closed Thursday Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day and Friday Nov. 12 to move offices. Both the Counseling Center and the administrative offices will reopen at 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 15 at the new location.

After being in the current location on 15th Street since 1982, Los Alamos Family Council is relocating to expand services.

“The new office location will enable our Counseling Center to expand by 50%,” said Executive Director Jordan Redmond. “We are so excited to be able to expand our services to better meet the needs of our community!”

The relocation of the offices coincides with the launch of the 60-week Count Up! This CountUP! will be a celebration of the current and historical activities of Los Alamos Family Council in preparation for the 60th anniversary.

“Watch for weekly announcements with information about LAFC and join us in celebrating 60 years of serving Los Alamos.  In addition to weekly announcements, the CountUP! will include contests and prizes,” Redmond shared.
