Owners of the popular French gourmet store and cafe Fleur de Lys Marcel Remillieux and Stephanie Pasareanu announced Sunday evening on social media that they will close their Trinity Drive business temporarily towards the end of December until they can find a space to purchase in Los Alamos.

“Our lease will end on Dec. 31, 2021,” the announcement states. “Unfortunately, we were not successful in obtaining an extension or renewal of our lease…..We are actively looking to purchase a space in Los Alamos and will come back when we find this space. Meanwhile, we will focus 100% of our attention on Mille in Santa Fe (https://www.millenm.com). Being able to purchase our building there was the opportunity of a lifetime for us but also a solid foundation for the expansion of our business.”

The announcement thanked the community on behalf of the entire team of Fleur de Lys for creating memories that will last a lifetime in “this space that was once an office”.

“Thank you for your unbelievable support throughout this journey. We could not have done it without you all,” the notice said.

Elsewhere, Fleur de Lys noted that they have a staff, a lot of business, and the willingness but that without a lease there is not much they can do for now.

According to Los Alamos County records, the 1460 Trinity Drive property is owned by Trinity Midtown, LLC. The registered agent is Terry Salazar.
