Larsen Dempsey, center, the newest member of the Rotary Club of Los Alamos, receives congratulations from his sponsor, Club vice president Linda Hull and President Oliver Morris. Dempsey, who was inducted October 12, is a native of Austin, Texas and received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M.  He moved to Los Alamos in 2020, accepting a job at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Safety Basis Division for nuclear waste facilities.  Dempsey is a volunteer for Healing America’s Heroes and enjoys skiing, gaming, golfing, skeet shooting, and camping.  Dempsey was proposed for Rotary membership by Linda Hull.
