Environment Department To Host Quarterly Los Alamos Community Engagement Meeting This Evening Via Webex

NMED NEWS RELEASE

The New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) will host a virtual Los Alamos community engagement meeting from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 21, 2021.

The purpose of these routine quarterly meetings is to engage the community in discussion of topics related to NMED’s work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). The NMED Hazardous Waste Bureau will provide an update on the Hexavalent Chromium Plume Control Interim Measures. There will also be time allotted for questions and brief public statements.

To submit prepared questions in advance and to request interpretation services or other assistance, please contact Beau Masse at 505.331.3665 or beau.masse@state.nm.us. Questions may also be asked during the meeting and do not need to be submitted prior.
