We’re here for you!
The Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB) was established in 2018 in response to community concerns about the property maintenance codes and their implementation. Our stated job is to make recommendations to County Council regarding the development, implementation, and enforcement of county property maintenance codes. CDAB meets monthly with the Community Development Department (CDD) to look at Code Enforcement activities.
A rewrite of the County’s property maintenance codes is happening right now! During this rewrite, CDAB needs to hear from you! We are working with the consultant (Decker/Perich/Sabatini) and CDD to ensure that your concerns are heard and considered.
You can provide input to members of CDAB at cdab.public@lacnm.us, or come to a CDAB meeting on the third Monday of every month at 5:30pm in the Council Chambers. If you have any input about the code, now is the time to make your voice heard.
Want to get involved? You can! Apply to serve on CDAB today! Please join us or visit our webpage to learn more or to get involved: https://losalamosnm.us/government/boards___commissions
