LWV NEWS RELEASE
The League of Women Voters encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy, while registering voters and providing them election information through voter guides as well as candidate forums and debates.
In our commitment to voter education during the ongoing SARS-CoV-2 crisis, the League of Women Voters-Los Alamos held its 2021 Candidate Forum for School Board (Districts 1, 2, 4, and 5) and UNM-LA Advisory Board (positions 1, 2, and 5) on Zoom. Because the Zoom had a meeting-capacity of only 100, the LWV-LA recorded the forum; it is now available on our website at:
Or, you can go directly to the YouTube site: https://youtu.be/QstSgUmME_Q

As a non-partisan organization, the League does not support, oppose, or make recommendations regarding any political party or candidate. We do, however, urge you to become informed and to vote. Local elections matter. Your vote counts.
