This is an opportunity for members of the community to voice their criteria for the next superintendent of Los Alamos Public Schools. McPherson and Jacobson was hired by the School Board last summer to conduct the search for a new superintendent following the retirement of Dr. Kurt Steinhaus after six years in the role.

Jennifer Guy is the interim superintendent for the district.

“The search firm wants to hear from many stakeholders as part of this process,” she said. “The board values everyone’s input as they consider the qualities and experiences of our next superintendent.”

The consultants will also meet with other stakeholder groups, including teachers, support staff, principals, students and community leaders.
