The Democratic Party of Los Alamos County will be hosting two opportunities for the public to meet Democratic candidates in the coming weeks. On Sunday, Sept. 12 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Urban Park Pavilion in Los Alamos, meet candidates for Los Alamos Public Schools Board, Melanie Colgan (Barranca) and Erin Green (Mountain). 

On Saturday, Sept. 18, from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on the patio at Pig and Fig Cafe in White Rock, meet candidates for LAPS Board, Antonio Jaurigue (Chamisa), Ellen Specter (Pinon) and Steve Boerigter (Chamisa).

On hand at each of these events will be candidates for UNM-LA Advisory Board, Laura Woodring (position 2), Alissa Grissom (position 1), and David Hanson (position 5).
