Los Alamos Magistrate Court Judge Pat A. Casados received a surprise gift this week this week from the New Mexico Magistrate Judges Association during their annual conference. Although the conference was virtual, her colleagues conspired and collaborated with her husband, Jeff, who showed up at her office with the gift, a Nambe tray, and presented to her in person while her colleagues honored her on-line. Judge Casados has served as president of the association for four years and prior to that she served as secretary. She is again serving as secretary for the coming year as Judge Warren Walton of Raton takes over as president.
