Join PEEC and the Los Alamos Creative District on Monday, Aug. 23 at 5:30 p.m. for a virtual Nature On Tap! We’ll hear from Nick Forman, who is the Carnivore and Small Mammal Program Manager for NM Game and Fish. He will discuss living with predators in New Mexico and share some of the current information available on the biology of black bears and mountain lions in New Mexico, human interactions with predators, and how these interactions can be detrimental to wildlife. Finally, this presentation will share insights about how individuals, communities, and the NM Department of Game & Fish can approach interactions with large predators.
