Los Alamos Public Schools Welcomed 3,762 Students Back To School Thursday Morning

Los Alamos Public Schools welcomed 3,762 students in PreK through 12th grade back to school Thursday morning. Students and families were greeted at school sites in Los Alamos and White Rock by teachers and other staff members.

Staff and students are happy to be back in school,” said Interim Supt. Jennifer Guy. “We are looking forward to a great school year.”

Elementary schools dismiss at noon Thursday and Friday this week. Before school programs at the elementary schools will begin on Monday. Parents can enroll students to attend before school programs from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. each day.
