Are you looking for end-of-summer care for your child? Would you like them to spend time outside with friends before heading back to school? Well, the Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) is offering five days of camp to end the summer! PEEC’s environmental educators will lead campers into canyons, atop mesas and around mountains as they play, hike and learn to love nature on the Pajarito Plateau.

PEEC Pathfinders and PEEC Trailblazers will be held from Monday, Aug. 2 – Friday, Aug. 6. Both camps will meet at the Los Alamos Nature Center and run from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. PEEC Pathfinders is for children entering grades 1 – 3 and PEEC Trailblazers is for kids entering grades 4 – 6. Learn more and register for these camps at peecnature.org/events.

Participants should come prepared to be outside for the entire camp by wearing closed-toe shoes and dressing appropriately for the weather. Wear or bring clothing to stay warm and dry in all weather conditions. Campers need to pack a hearty lunch, as well as a backpack with a water bottle and snack.
