The Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation announces Kari Mason as the graduating senior selected for the Carson Cannon Memorial Scholarship. Kari will attend Brigham Young University and major in visual arts. 

This scholarship was awarded in memory of Carson Cannon, a Los Alamos High School student who passed away in December 2019.  The son of Reed and Heidi Cannon, Carson would have graduated this year.  The $3100 scholarship was organized by family friend, Shari Mills, and awarded to a graduating senior majoring in art.

The Carson Cannon Memorial Scholarship was administered by the Los Alamos Public Schools Foundation, an independent organization that supports, challenges, and invests in a successful future for all Los Alamos public school students. Learn more at www.lapsfoundation.com.
