Los Alamos County Parks, Recreation and Open Space Divisions have partnered up with the Parjarito Astronomers for a Dark Sky/Night program slated for 8 p.m., July 10 at Spirio Park in White Rock.

If you have an interest in star gazing and the chance to look for stars through a telescope – come on out and join us.

– If you want to set up a telescope arrive around sunset.
– For stargazing arrive closer to nightfall
– If you arrive after dark, please use your parking lights when driving through Overlook Park.
– Bring a red light flashlight for safety
– Feel free to bring your own binoculars, telescope, or just enjoy the night sky.

This viewing is always weather dependent. Please maintain social distancing when around others.
