As part of the ongoing DP Road reconstruction activities the Canyon Rim Trail will be closed at the DP Road crossing on Friday June 25, reopen for the weekend and then again be closed from Monday June 28 through Wednesday June 30. During these closures, no access across or to and from the Canyon Rim Trail will be available at DP Road.
Additionally, from Monday June 28th through Wednesday June 30th a contractor will be working off to the side of the trail just west of the DP Canyon Bridge. For safety reasons during their work hours (7:00am to 5:00pm) the section of the trail from the DP Canyon Bridge to DP Road will be closed.
