The 2021 Los Alamos Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe, presents the last virtual concert of the 2021 series featuring Tuscaloosa Alabama’s Joy Funk band, CBDB. CBDB combines impressive musicianship and solid songwriting with more than a hint of having a good time —a trifecta that is rarely seen in any band, let alone one as ambitious as they are. CBDB blends soulful vocals and virtuosic instrumentation with smart, tasteful songwriting resulting in a sound that can be enjoyed by the casual listener and audiophile alike. The CBDB Virtual Concert will be the last virtual show in the 2021 lineup, with live shows kicking off on July 2nd at Overlook Park in White Rock, New Mexico. This Friday’s CBDB virtual concert will be hosted and broadcast at 7pm on the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series YouTube channel. The link to the concert will be made available on the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series Facebook and Instagram pages. PAC 8 Community Media Center will also be airing the CBDB virtual concert at 7pm.
The first two Overlook Park live show concerts will be held on July 2nd featuring Austin Van, followed by the July 9th concert featuring Dusty Low. Due to the lifted COVID-19 restrictions, effective July 1st tickets and crowd limitation will not be required. More information about the live shows will be available in the coming days on the Los Alamos Summer Concert Series website and Facebook page.
