Four-year-old Oliver Sutter is at Mesa Public Library’s youth services desk holding the book, stickers, and squishy toy he earned for completing the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program offered by the Los Alamos County Library. Oliver and his family used the library curbside service to check out and read picture books while the library was closed to the public. He finished 1000 books on December 27, 2020. To register a child and begin tracking books read together, go to lacnm.beanstack.org. Track digitally but go to either library to pick up a special incentive. Readers earn milestone incentives at 100 books, 300, 700, 900, and 1000. Youth services questions?
