
Los Alamos High School graduating senior Aliya Richins plans to attend Adams State University in Alamosa, Colo. She has been offered a position on the Grizzlies Women’s Soccer Team and plans to study kinesiology. Aliya enjoyed her high school years involved in student council, basketball, track and soccer. As Co Captain of the Girls Varsity Soccer Team, she received the Soccer Defensive Player of the Year two years in a row and was named to the All State Soccer First Team. She has been a member of the National Honor Society and Student Leadership. Outside of school, Aliya loves to read, watch Marvel superhero movies, listen to music and explore the outdoors. She especially enjoys spending time with her older siblings, Bryanna, Tyree, and Travis and the rest of her family. She is the adored aunt to her four nieces and nephews and she enjoys taking her grandpa out for ice cream. Aliya is the youngest and last of the four Richins to graduate from Los Alamos High School. Her parents are Mike and Joyce Richins.
