Teacher Christine Bernstein of Real Support is offering summer program for teens entering 7th through 12th grades which will offer all kinds of activities from field trips to community service day. The program is designed to help participants develop new ideas and interests, provide a positive social setting and spark curiosity.
Called Real Support for Summer, the program will be held June 10-11, and during the remainder of the summer, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1615 Central Avenue, Suite C and also at East Park, Ashley Pond, the Fuller Lodge grass area and other locations. Days chosen are flexible, so a student can participate any number of days. Cost of the program is $40 per day.
Other activities proposed for the program are:
Builders Day -Build a business, Legos, Robots, ideas.
Arts and Crafts
Be a Tourist and Explore Los Alamos in a new way.
Movie Day
Field Trip
Community Service Day
Story Writing
D&D
Grow Something Day
Hiking and trail exploration
Rock Climbing
Sports Day
Game Day (water balloon fight, etc.)
