Los Alamos High School Graduating Senior Tyler Weiss To Major In Biochemistry At The University Of New Mexico

Los Alamos High School graduating senior Tyler Weiss will attend the University of New Mexico in the fall to major in biochemistry and he plans to walk on to their track and field team. During his time at LAHS, he earned a varsity letter in baseball, hockey, football, track and golf – with repeat letters in hockey, football and track. He was the captain of the Topper football, track and golf teams. Weiss was a State Champion in two track events and was a part of the State second-place track team his sophomore year. He has played hockey for the Los Alamos Hockey Association since he was 4 years old and was a part of the State Championship team during the 2018-2019 season. For every varsity letter Weiss earned, he also earned an Academic All-District award. He will graduate with a cumulative 3.93 GPA. He is the son of Doug And Holly Weiss who are extremely proud of him and look forward to seeing him continue to succeed in his future endeavors.
