Youth Activity Centers Accepting New And Returning Registrations

Los Alamos Family Council (LAFC) is now accepting new and returning registrations for participants at the Youth Activity Center.  The annual registration is for the summer of 2021 and the 2021-2022 school year.

The Youth Activity Centers operate as an afterschool and summer program for students in grades 3rd through 8th who live in or attend school in Los Alamos County.  There are two Youth Activity Centers, one in Los Alamos (downstairs on the south end of the Community Building by Ashley Pond) and one in White Rock (behind the White Rock Public Library).

The Los Alamos Youth Activity Center operates all summer from 8am to 6pm Mondays through Fridays.  Both the Los Alamos and White Rock centers operate during the school year after school: 3pm to 6pm Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, and 12pm to 6pm on Wednesdays.

As always, attending the Youth Activity Center is free!

The Youth Activity Centers follow COVID Safe Practices and spaces are limited.  Those interested in registering can go to the Youth Activity Centers Facebook page ( and complete the Registration Request Form.

Questions can be directed to YAC Site Directors through email, phone calls, or messages on the Facebook page.
