Los Alamos High School senior Rayna Morales of Chimayo has accepted the Woodward Scholarship at the University of New Mexico and will study Biomedical Engineering. Reyna is a member of the National Honor Society and the National Society of High School Scholars. She also received the Hadley’s Honors Scholarship for NMSU and the Founders Gold Scholarship for Northern Arizona University. She has played varsity basketball since beginning her sophomore year. Rayna enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. Her parents, Ray Morales and Liz Medina, are proud of her and feel blessed to be her parents. Courtesy photo
