Los Alamos County Announces New Website And Survey For New County Manager Recruitment

Los Alamos County has launched a website with news and updates about the recruitment process for a new County Manager. Current County Manager Harry Burgess will retire May 28.

To ensure the recruitment for the next County Manager is a success, the consultant, CPS-HR, hired by the County Council is seeking the community’s feedback with a short survey designed to collect information to help identify the unique and important characteristics necessary for the County Manager position. Collected information will be used in designing interview questions and assessment activities that will assist in determining whether candidates possess the attributes being sought. The survey is posted on the website and is open until Thursday, May 27.
