Los Alamos High School graduating senior Mateo Martinez is joining the U.S. Navy and will be leaving for basic training in July. Martinez was interested in wrestling and football during high school. Outside school, he enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and anything outdoors. Martinez’s parents, Aaron Martinez of White Rock and Sarah Valdez of Los Alamos are very proud of him and can’t wait to see what his future holds for him. Courtesy photo
