LOS ALAMOS HISTORICAL SOCIETY NEWS
Caregivers who are homeschooling their children are invited to join the Los Alamos History Museum on a virtual field trip to an Ancestral Pueblo site. On May 25, museum educator Aimee Slaughter will lead an exploration of what life was like on the Pajarito Plateau hundreds of years ago, live from the Ancestral Pueblo site in downtown Los Alamos. A session for elementary students will be offered from 10–10:30 a.m., and a session for tweens and teens from 11–11:30 a.m. Register for free for this Zoom-based virtual field trip at www.losalamoshistory.org/childrens_programs. The Los Alamos Historical Society preserves, promotes, and communicates the remarkable history and inspiring stories of Los Alamos and its people for our community, for the global audience, and for future generations.
