The Pajarito Environmental Education Center (PEEC) needs your help! Due to the pandemic and closure of the Los Alamos Nature Center over the last year, active PEEC memberships have dipped lower than they’ve been in years. If you’ve been on the fence about joining PEEC’s membership program, now is a great time to support your favorite nature center! PEEC memberships also make great gifts if you’re looking for an idea for a birthday, end-of-year teacher appreciation, anniversary or other celebration.
PEEC would also like to help its members get outside and connect with nature! In honor of Earth Month and the membership drive, PEEC is holding an experience giveaway for new members or current members that renew or upgrade their membership between now and April 30. Six winners will be selected for an excursion with one of PEEC’s naturalists. Excursions include birding trips, wildflower walks and astronomy lessons with local experts. New members or membership renewals will be entered into the drawing once. Any member that upgrades their membership to auto-renewal will be entered five times. Current lifetime members and current auto-renewal members will also be automatically entered into the drawing five times.
