Making music online during this pandemic year has been both challenging and fun, but it is also expensive. With no concert tickets to sell to live audiences, all performing arts groups have struggled this year, and Coro de Cámara is no exception. Since they can’t hold an in-person fundraiser this spring, the chamber chorus is hosting an online auction from April 26-May 4, accessed from the Coro’s website corodecamara-nm.org.

Generous auction donors have provided something for everyone. The list of items offered include an original painting, framed photograph by award-winning artists, handwoven grass baskets, one-of-a-kind jewelry, and a hand-knit shawl. There are also piano lessons, personalized yoga and fitness sessions, life coaching, lessons in pysanky egg painting, personal serenades, gift cards, and more—all just in time for Mothers’ Day gift-giving.
