Los Alamos Police Department is investigating two burglaries that occurred late Monday night or early Tuesday morning at Los Alamos Public Schools Administration at 2075 Trinity Drive and the Small Business Center in Central Park Square operated by the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation. A locked mailbox at 3055 Trinity Drive was also broken into. Several computers were reportedly taken from the school district building.

The Chamber of Commerce in an email Wednesday made members aware that there were “multiple businesses that were broken into recently in the downtown area”.

“Please be cautious and make sure your business doors and windows are locked at night and keep an eye out for suspicious activity,” the email stated.

The burglaries were also announced at a meeting between Los Alamos County officials and business owners on DP Road Wednesday.

LAPD is expected to issue more information on the burglaries Thursday including possibly photos of the suspects.
