Los Alamos Community Winds Presents Mother’s Day Instrumental Serenades

LOS ALAMOS COMMUNITY WINDS NEWS

Music, flowers, and chocolates! What better way to celebrate Moms and the love they have for the families. The Los Alamos Community Winds are offering Instrumental Mother’s Day Serenades to the community.

Again, partnering with Flowers by Gillian and The Rose Chocolatier, LACW will be offering a performance of three musical selections for $42.00 with the optional add-ons (for $10.00 each) of a beautifully wrapped long stemmed rose and a gift box of four delicious chocolate truffles.

“Our Valentine’s Day Serenades were extremely successful,” says LACW director Ted Vives. “We want to thank the citizens of Los Alamos for their support and hope that we can continue to make live music available to the community through events like this.”

As before, each serenade will be performed by a small group from within the larger ensemble.
Serenades can be purchased and scheduled by going to http://lacw.org/wp/?p=961. Clicking on the “Order Now” button will take you directly to the order form. Serenades will be delivered on May 7 and 8. Schedule times are limited. The last day to order will be Friday, April 30.

Posters are also up around the community. Each contains the QR Code that will take you directly to the serenade webpage with your mobile device.

Proceeds from the sale of Mother’s Day Serenades will go to fund the 2022 Association of Concert Bands National Convention which will be held in Santa Fe May 3-8, 2022. The Los Alamos Community Winds, along with the Santa Fe Concert Band and The Albuquerque Concert Band, have been selected to host this exciting event.

If you have any questions about ordering, or just want to just want to get more general information, please contact LACW at info@lacw.org.
