Los Alamos County Environmental Services has slated a Lose the Waste Webinar hosted by Shelby Wood on Zoom at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 21.

Wood is graduating in May 2021 from Arizona State University with her Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. With a strong appreciation for the environment and natural world, she strives to make changes in her daily life to live more sustainably. Her presentation will focus on the impacts of food waste and help share advice or strategies that she uses in her own life to reduce the amount of waste that is created. Living sustainably can be difficult in the world we live in. Wood believes that with a consistent effort as a community, we can make a huge difference with a few small changes to our habits.
